This piece takes the word mors, which in latin mythology is the representation of death and is also the root of the word “muerte” (death in Spanish). During the creation of this work, I was grieving my father’s death and navigating it through writing and crochet. This expanded drawing ponders about the connection of writing, crochet and the process of grieving.
